Our free time in Denmark

We spent most of our free time at several food spots due to our lacking cooking skills but nevertheless, we did manage to cook some low quality spaghetti. Aalborg has many good places to eat out, such as Kebabistan, Chickies and the restaurant Meat where our roommate works. Fortunately, we had some great guys living with us. Alfonso, an awesome jobless dude from Argentina and the chef Horacio who is also from Argentina. We spent most of the evenings chilling and exchanging stories/experiences in our three-room apartment.
At the weekends we usually went to Victoria’s Café to socialize with our friends from school. Afterward we went to the most famous party street in Denmark to have a great night out. During these nights we got to meet a lot of people which was pretty easy due to the that fact that Danish people are very open and kind.
Besides the party nights we also went for walks near the Fjörd and visited the many parks Aalborg has to offer. One of our best trips was to visit the zoo and admire the amazing animals they had. We didn’t expect to see so many exotic creatures such as lions, elephants, penguins, crocodiles and meerkats. One activity we want to recommend on a hot July day is to visit the swimming park “Vestre Fjordpark”.
