This page gives you an overview of this year's participants and their motivation to do an internship in Denmark. Enjoy!
Hey there,
My name is Lea and I’m 17 years old. I live in Dornbirn with my parents and my younger brother. I attend a vocational college with an IT focus in Bregenz. Currently, I am in my third year. After my graduation I’d like to study in Vienna but I’m not sure yet what exactly.
In my free time I love listening to music, reading or taking a walk. I also enjoy baking, traveling, watching movies, doing some creative work or just hanging out with my friends.
I’m really looking forward to being abroad for some time. I think it’s a great opportunity for me to improve my English skills and gain some work experience but especially to become more independent. I’m really excited to explore Denmark in my free time.

Hello,
I'm Olivia Berkmann, I'm 17 years old and I'm currently attending a vocational college in Bregenz, specializing in sports management. I live with my family in Bregenz.
I like to ski, go swimming frequently and try to meet my friends and family as often as possible. As an enthusiastic handball player, I have learned how important teamwork, responsibility and perseverance are. I would like to improve these skills by spending time abroad and gain new work experience.
I am convinced that a stay in Denmark will strengthen my intercultural competences and broaden my horizons. Above all, I hope to improve my English and get to know people who speak a different language. I am curious about new experiences and challenges and am willing to actively participate and learn. I am looking forward to expanding my skills and knowledge and making new friends.
Hey there,
my name is Lara Brunner, I am 17 years old and together with my parents, my younger sister and our two cats, we live in Höchst, which is a small town in western Austria.
Currently I attend HAK Bregenz Digital Business, which is a school that focuses on various IT and business topics.
I spend my free time hanging out with my friends and family. In winter I like to go skiing and enjoy the outdoors. I love to travel, see new places, meet new people, and learn new things. People would describe me as an open and happy person.
Doing an internship abroad is a great opportunity to meet new people, improve my English skills and make memories. I am excited to experience all these things in the four weeks I am going to spend in Denmark.

Hello there,
My name is Maria Dietrich, I am 17 years old and I live in western Austria, more precisely in a small village named Egg in Vorarlberg.
Currently, I attend a vocational college called BHAK Bregenz. My special focus is on sports management. I am in the third year and will graduate in two years.
In my free time I play volleyball for the club VC Egg. I like to go hiking and spend time with my friends and family.
I am looking forward to my visit for several reasons. First, I think it’s a great opportunity to improve my language skills. At the same time, I will see a country I have always wanted to see. And lastly, I will be able to take more responsibility and gain work experience in a foreign country.
Also, it would be great if my internship allowed for some time in the afternoons or evenings to see Denmark, visit some spots and go out with friends.
My name is Benno Frischke, I’m a 17 years old and attend a vocational college with a special focus on digital business in Bregenz, Austria. Currently, I am in my third year.

I call the beautiful lakeside town of Hard, directly located next to Bregenz, my home. Here I live with my parents, my younger sister and the best cat on planet Earth.

As for my hobbies, I really like to go for a hike and I play the drums. When I’m at my Grandma’s place in Leipzig, Germany, I always try to go to a football game of my favourite club, BSG Chemie Leipzig <3 .

As of today, I've never seen a place north of Rostock, Germany, therefore also have never been to Denmark. That's mostly why I wanna go there, adapt to the kind of lifestyle there (even more cycling than already hehe), live independently and work in a new kind of  environment for me. I’m really looking forward to working in Aalborg.

Hello
My name is Laurin Geismayr and I am 17 years old. I live in a small village called Mäder. I currently attend a vocational college in Bregenz where I am in my third year.
I am very excited about my upcoming stay in Denmark, as I believe it will be very interesting to work in a foreign country. I am also looking forward to meeting new people, honing my language skills, and experiencing my first trip to another country alone without my family. I am also eager for the opportunity to live in a flat with new people.
I have only been to Denmark once as a child, so I am excited to visit again as a teenager. I eagerly anticipate exploring the country, meeting new people, acquiring new skills, and gaining diverse experiences. I'm confident that my time abroad will be entertaining and exciting.
Hello,
My name is Alexander Gmeiner, I am 17 years old and I live in Dornbirn which is a city in western Austria.
Currently, I attend a vocational college in Bregenz where we specialize in marketing and web design. I am in my third year, and I shall graduate in two years. You don’t often get the opportunity to work in another country and I would love to make the most of this experience.
I do a lot of sports and train my body. So, whenever I get the chance, I go for a run, or I work out in the gym with my friends. The only thing I love more than that is to play games with my family or watch a movie together.
I have never been to Denmark and this internship is the perfect opportunity to not only learn about the culture and to increase my English skills, but also get work experience.

Hi,
My name is Aurelia Griell and I’m 16 years old.
Currently, I study at a vocational college called Hak Bregenz Digital Business. This type of school specializes in IT, but we also learn a lot about business. That is why I go to school in Bregenz even though I live in Lustenau with my parents and my younger brother.
Luckily, my life isn't just about school, but also about water rescue, reading and writing, and playing soccer occasionally. Besides that, I like to bake and cook, which always brings joy to my family and friends.
I love discovering new things and learning outside of school. The Erasmus+ program is an amazing opportunity to broaden my horizons and see a bit of the world. I am excited to meet new people, increase my English skills, and become more independent.
There are several reasons why I have decided to go to Denmark. Firstly, my grandma absolutely loves the country and has told me so much about it. Additionally, I get to stay there with my friends and have an awesome time with them. Plus, Danish is a pretty cool language, and I might be able to pick up a few words.
I am excited to have an amazing time there!

Hi there,
I'm David, a 17-year-old residing in Lustenau, Austria, currently attending HAK Bregenz, which is a vocational college with a specialized focus on digital business.
In my leisure time, I immerse myself in winter sports such as skiing or snowboarding during the colder months, while I enjoy swimming in the warmer seasons. Photography, hitting the gym, and assisting companies with web and graphic design are my year-round passions.
Embarking on an internship abroad is an exciting prospect for me. It promises not only to enhance my self-sufficiency and independence but also to provide invaluable insights into diverse professions and the Danish culture. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to forge connections with individuals beyond Austria's borders and broaden my horizons.
I've previously visited Denmark and other northern European regions, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Spending four weeks living there will hopefully provide me with an even deeper understanding and appreciation of the country.
Best regards,
David

I currently attend the Hak Bregenz vocational college with a special focus on marketing and media design and will graduate in 2026. Although my main points of interest are, as my choice of school might suggest, media design and all things creative, I also have a real passion for language learning and linguistics. I love traveling, learning about new cultures, and even more so, their languages. This is one of the reasons why I am totally excited to be able to participate in this project.
Furthermore, I take a great interest in literature and spend a lot of time reading, as well as painting, which is probably my most time-consuming hobby. I am also very excited to get to explore Denmark a bit and meet lots of new people, as I am a very extroverted person. I count myself incredibly lucky to be able to have this experience and am looking forward to starting the journey.
