This page gives you an overview of this year's participants and their motivation to do an internship in Ireland. Enjoy!
Hey everyone,
my name is Cassandra Matiz and I am 16 years old. I live in Dornbirn with my parents, my older sister and three dwarf hares. At the moment I attend the third year at the HAK in Bregenz, which is a secondary business school and in my case a focus on sports management. In my free time I love to go climbing, crocheting or making music with my friends. I am also part of an orchestra for which I have also moderated concerts since I was 12 years old. I love trying out anything I can, which is why I don’t want to miss this chance of doing an internship in Ireland. My sister has already been there for a year and loved it, which I would like to see for myself. |
Hello everyone!
My Name is Agnes Schrotter, and I am 16 years old. I currently live in Rankweil with my parents and my older sister Marie, who will graduate this summer. Currently I’m attending the HAK Bregenz which is an upper-level secondary business college. I’m in the 2nd year in a class with a focus on cultural management. I have still 3 years of school left, so I am not quite sure which career path I want to take, therefor I am happy to gain more work and language experience. In my leisure time, I sing, dance, read and draw. I also like to write short stories and poems. I really look forward to experiencing the culture, the nice people and the beautiful landscapes of Ireland. I see this internship as an opportunity to collect memories that will last forever. |
My name is Alissa, I’m 18 years old and I live in Lustenau with my mum and my dad. Lustenau is a small village in Austria.
I’m attending the commercial high school for market communication & media design. In my free time I like to bake sometimes, and I go horse riding two times a week. I also like to play with my dog Bläcky. After school I want to spend some time abroad before working or going to university. I hope that I can improve my English skills while I’m in Ireland. It’s important to me that I feel comfortable in my work placement and my host family but I’m sure it will be a great experience. I’m already excited for this month and I’m happy to have this opportunity! |
My name is Ronja Hölbling and I am 18 years old. I am from Austria and live in Lustenau with my parents. Currently, I am attending a Commercial college for Market Communication and Media Design in Bregenz, which I will graduate next year.
I am very excited to do an internship in a completely different country and I am happy to get the chance to make new experiences. After school I want to see more of the world and so this internship is the perfect opportunity to get to know a new country. I hope I will work with nice people who teach me new skills. The host family is hopefully nice and makes me feel welcome. I am also very happy to explore Ireland and excited to see Ireland’s beautiful nature. My goal is to improve my English and get more comfortable with speaking it. |
Hello there,
My name is Laura Veisenkopfa, I am 20 years old and I live in the West of Austria, in the province of Vorarlberg. Currently, I am attending a commercial college BHAK in Bregenz. In my free time I like to watch soccer games and go to the gym. I also love to play soccer myself. So far I have never been to Ireland, but it has always been on my bucket list. I am convinced this internship will be a great way to become more independent and to improve my English skills. |
Hello
My name is Felix Schnetzer, I am 18 years old and currently attending my fourth year at the HAK Bregenz, a business college in the West of Austria. In my free time, I like to watch movies, read books and spend time with my family and friends. I chose to do an internship in Dublin because I wanted to improve my spoken English, as well as gain work experience in a foreign country and making new connections in a different part of the world. I hope my host family will be kind and welcoming, so they can show me some interesting places. Hopefully my workplace won’t be too stressful, so I can still explore Dublin after I’m finished working. |
Hey there!
My name is Eliza Veisenkopfa and I am 16 years old. My family and I live with two small dogs in Lochau, a small town in western Austria near the Lake of Constance. Currently, I am a second-grade student at the Commercial academy and commercial school Bregenz with a specialization it the software SAP. My favourite subjects are Accounting and English. I have never been to Ireland before; therefore, I am really looking forward to doing my one-month internship there. During my time in Ireland, I hope to get to know the Irish culture, meet new people and, above all, improve my language skills. Furthermore, I wish to have a friendly and helpful environment at my workplace. I don’t have a lot expectations for my host family, I just hope they are nice and welcome me with open arms. Apart from that, I would also hope that they show me a little bit around the city. |
